The series of conferences Applications of Mathematics is organized by the Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. Conference topics cover a wide variety of applications of mathematics including numerical analysis, computational mathematics, differential equations, and mathematical physics. Conferences in this series are usually organized on the occasion of an important anniversary of an influential applied mathematician who works in or is closely connected to the Institute of Mathematics.
