Čech, Eduard

Eduard Čech (1893-1960) was the greatest Czechoslovak mathematician of the 20th century. In his time he was one of the world's leading experts in topology and differential geometry and significantly contributed to the development of both fields. His scientific legacy includes more than one hundred original research papers and 14 monographs. In addition to these works, this digital archive presents also his numerous high school textbooks and other works for mathematics teaching, and also a collection of works about Eduard Čech himself, his life, work and achievements.
